As project manager, MHPM assisted The Home Depot with achieving LEED certification for its atypical store in North Hill, Calgary. This 75,000 sq.ft. development was Home Depot’s first non-prototype "urban" store in North America.
The build-to-suit project required demolition of a high-rise hotel located on the site, which was bounded by the Trans Canada highway. MHPM was a key member of the team that delivered the on-time construction of this boutique store and adjacent two level underground parkade.
The North Hill project is the first Home Depot in North America to obtain Leadership in Energy Environmental Design (LEED) certification.
