MHPM has delivered its first LEED recreational facility in Canada. MHPM was awarded the contract to manage the Design and Construction of the new $29 million multi-purpose recreation facility for the Town of Innisfil. The Innisfil Recreation Complex celebrated its completion with a Grand Opening on Friday November 21, 2008.
"This is the end of the journey that I've been on with the town, (since planning began) four years ago," Gary Stanhope said. "Everyone should be very proud of what they have in this community." After over two years of construction on the site, residents were invited to tour the facility, swim and skate for free.
Mayor Brian Jackson is also proud of the facility. "This has been a long process to arrive at this point," he said.
