Transparent procurement system
Utilizing our knowledge of the construction process and the marketplace we develop a transparent procurement process that places your interests front and centre in procuring the best possible value.
Developing a bidders list
Based upon our experience of the construction marketplace, we will develop a bidders list in consultation with the project team that is best suited to provide value to you the owner.
Value Engineering
MHPM working collaboratively with the design team tables options that provide value to you the owner. These options are then identified in the tender documents to allow the bidders to provide alternative prices that will be reviewed at tender close.
Bid Package Development
Clearly define the bidder’s responsibility and coordination requirements, through the development of a general scope and a specific scope that clearly defines responsibility, address issues of ambiguity and overlap of scope in the documents.
Pre-tender Review of Bid Packages
Review bid packages with the project team in order to make each package as complete as possible and ensure that everyone is aware of and agrees to the terms and conditions of performing the work of a particular package.
Tender
Based upon consultation with the project team prepare a detailed procurement and tender schedule that is linked directly with the project schedule to ensure that milestone dates are identified at an early stage and met.
Upon tenders closing, MHPM will open the submitted bids with the presence of the owner. MHPM will take this information and provide a bid analysis including post tender clarification meetings with the lower bidder.
Contract Award Recommendation
Upon tender close and post tender meeting(s), MHPM will complete a tender analysis and provide a bid analysis and a Contract Award Recommendation including the bid analysis and all pertinent documentation that will be forwarded to the owner for review and approval.
