The Canadian Museum of Nature is a crown corporation whose mandate is "to increase, throughout Canada and internationally, interest in, knowledge of, and appreciation and respect for the natural world". The project comprised the fit-up of new storage, conservation and research laboratories, and administration offices for the Canadian Museum of Nature. MHPM was engaged, subsequent to the commencement of the fit-up, to take over and improve the project management activities.
Services provided included establishing a cost plan and budget, introduction of cost tracking to existing project activities, establishment and implementation of a change order management system, preparation of a master schedule and monitoring schedule compliance, dispute settlement, progress monitoring, reporting, client relations, and providing tender reviews. The project came in on schedule and under budget. Client Web site: http://www.nature.ca |
